NAFTA has had its trade-offs for the U.S.
Hopeful H. Ross Perot warned that NAFTA would create a “giant sucking sound” of jobs going to Mexico and the trade is still generating. Many protesters paralyzed and jammed Mexico’s capital, and said that many Mexican farmers were hurt. After all, the nation has lost 3.1 million manufacturing jobs since 1994, and its trade deficit with Mexico and Canada has risen to $138.5 billion last year from $9.1 billion in 1993.
My opinion of this matter is that feel as if the mexican and the united states government should work together on a more friendlier and stable manner to help improve their loss of jobs for their people. such was as creating more construction jobs for highways and businesses as well as having a larger and more efficient trade runners ( cargo ships and air shipping). if we succeed in accomplishing these steps to help revive the loss of jobs in the United States, we will without a doubt have a shorter amount of unemployed citizens and thus a more established economy.
Labor Union
Today north korea has a blackout the size of England. The reason behind this dates back to the 1990’s where north korea suffered a major economic fall, this lead the country into turmoil. North Korea Labor unions which consisted of people working in factories, industries, and other small businesses were forced to close down and move to urban areas. Aside from losing most of their income, north koreas faced total darkness at night, the country lead by a dictator did nothing to change this matter. Since then, North Koreans still suffer from this phenomenon and are forced to do all tasks during the day; their families are forced to go to bed as early as 7pm.
In my opinion the north korean government should spend what money they have into repairing street lights through his country as apposed to spending on creating a stronger military and high tech security. People have the right to live in a nation that provides the bare essentials to carry on life.
